made FG at end of quarter/half

So i made a fg at the end of a quarter or half and was called for holding. I know the quarter cant end on a defensive penalty but if they declined my off. penalty then the fg would still be good. I guess they mustve accepted and since time was up i didnt get to retry from 5 yards back. is that right?

That is correct. Half ends on an offensive penalty.

Yes and holding = 10 yards.

I unfortunately had a 50 yarder in the SB that I made and was called for holding. Then I missed the 60 yarder.

Just thought about this...and its going to affect my gameplay until the new patch is out...I'm definately NOT going to run down the clock so that there are zeroes if I'm kicking a game winning or tying FG...think about it...you have perfect clock management...kick a 25 yard FG to win it...but get the holding bs and lose the game ... nwo I will make sure that there are always 5 seconds left...thanks for getting me to think about this!
