Found a way to impove simmed sack stats

I think I may have found away to improve simmed sack stats in franchise mode.

The only downside is tackle stats get a little crazy for MLBs.

What I did is controlled all 32 teams and then under coaching schemes/defense....I lowered the run vs pass slider.

I simmed three seasons.

These were the results...
(ALL INJURIES WERE TURNED OFF FOR THESE TESTS)

Test Season 1/Run vs Pass setting: 0
Kyle Vanden Bosch (43 DE): 15 sacks
Julius Peppers (43 DE): 15
Dwight Freeney (43 DE): 15
Trent Cole (43 DE): 14.5
Robert Mathis (43 DE): 14

The top 14 sack leaders were 43 DEs!!!!

15th was Joey Porter (34 OLB) with 11. After that it gets uglier, but its still alot better than before.

Shawne Merriman: 9
James Harrison: 8.5
Terrell Suggs: 7.5
LaMarr Woodley: 7
Shaun Philips: 7
DeMarcus Ware: 5 (someone at EA must have something against Ware. Anthony Spencer had more sacks!)

So, as you can see, its still far from perfect, but IMO, much better than what it is on default. I am also experiments with SuperSims and having good results.

And actually, I wasnt paying attention to this for the first two tests, but it MAY also have helped the run TDs as well...

Under 20 run vs pass setting..

Michael Turner: 16 TDs
Steven Jackson 11
Frank Gore: 9
LT: 9
Brandon Jacobs: 8

After that its alot of 6s and 5s.

Still...much better.

Hmm yea I can see in the simmed that its possible. In coach mode, the sack leaders throughout a season are almost identical in numbers to the real NFL stats. It's been like that for 3 seasons now for me. I keep everything at default 50 in sliders.

Pretty happy with the results.

Not big on coach mode, but whatever works, I guess.

I do it because its the closest thing to NFL Head Coach lol. I'd do cpu/cpu games in my franchise but there are no injuries, so I just do coach mode and not touch the controller during plays.

Grats though bro on finding good sliders for more realistic stats.

What did the passing stats, and receptions look like? Also how were CB tackles. You can get those OLB's sacks up by putting them at DE.
