Soft lob

I am trying to throw a soft lob into the endzone, but whenever I tap the desginated button for the receiver (to lob the pass), the quarterback goes through his full throwing mechanics. Every now and then, the QB does a soft lob whenever I tap the pass button. I want to know, how lightly must you tap the button to get that desired effect?

I usually just tap the button and it works.

Re: Soft lob

Step forward. ANd lead diagonal right with the left analog and tap the receivers icon. (if throwing the fade to the right).

And call fade plays. These plays have 1 step drop. PLant and throw. Works great in the endzone. But make sure your guy beats the Jam, or its 100 yard INT TD time.

Are those the actual names in the playbooks? Can you elaborate on this? I've tried lobs as well; would like to try this fade route. I see that on Sundays....

Well the Colts have plays called: Goaline Fade, Colts Fade.

Theres two or three plays in the Colts playbook. It has the actual fade route, and not the hotrouted faderoute.

Re: Soft lob

The fade route inside the 10 yard line is finally done right in this game. Love that damn play. I've seen quite a few great looking animations in the back corner of the endzone using it.
