The Bible says that man can not live on the "Wildcat Offense" alone.

Re: Patch the Wildcat (save Pat White)

I can't wait until the real Dolphins use Pat White to run the Wildcat and he goes to throw the ball only to see no one is open and he has to run out of the pocket... Then I will officially be able to say Hey EA, what happened to "Everything you see on Sunday?"

Re: Patch the Wildcat (save Pat White)

idk what you guys are all complaining about??? its stupid...

just cause its not called the wildcat in the playbook doesnt make it different, sub pat white as your backup QB and run a playaction or anything in the shotgun. its the exact same thing as wildcatin

Pat White has yet to be used in a Wildcat formation this preseason and his headcoach says he wants to develop him as a QB first before implementing wildcat

It would be too much of a cheese or money play.

Why would the Fins use their trick plays in the preseason? That removes the element of surprise.

Do you remember a few years ago when people used to roll out on every play with Vick and McNabb? If you could pass out of the Wildcat, people would be abusing this left and right.
Exactly, people won a lot of money with Vick during those years and it made Madden more arcade than football sim, I assume thats what the OP is basically wanting. Because EA has done such a great job of killing roll outs the new cheese play/money play could have been the WildCat, but EA without a doubt shut it down before it got out of hand. I give EA props for doing this, keep Madden real not some arcadey NFL Blitz nonsense.
