Question Regarding Playing in the mud...

Hey guys,

I was wondering if those of you that bought the game and have played any games with heavy rain/muddy conditions if the jerseys get dirty. I have not bought the game and I watched someone's review and they mentioned that the jerseys don't get dirty in muddy conditions. I found that hard to believe since I recall that happening in 09.

Sorry if someone already answered this. I tried searching for it however I was unsuccessful.

no they don't get dirty, kinda weird to see all that mud and then see a guy get up from it and be just as clean as he was when he was tackled, maybe they will patch that problem to.

Re: Question Regarding Playing in the mud...

yes they get dirty in rain games just not muddy like last year's overkill.

would have liked some more field degradation and a little more dirt on unis (NFL Fever had dirt in real time ) but I understand that they have an awful lot packed into this graphics engine at 60fps and something had to be trimmed. hopefully next year they will add some more detail

Not really. for some reason they thought it was more important to make the helmet models have 100k more polys and 4 more layers of reflection.

If you really think about it though, how many NFL stadiums fields actually turn into a complete mud bog anymore? The only two that i can think of off the top of my head is Miami and Oakland.

Most fields have the field turf, and all of the other real grass stadiums drain very well.

Thanks everyone I appreciate the feedback. I'm still on the fence as far as buying the game this year, but I will still be checking out the forums getting people's opinion on the game...

Re: Question Regarding Playing in the mud...

The jerseys definitely get dirty. Maybe not completely brown mud soaked, but you can definitely see some degradation of the jerseys.
