I would like to sue who ever it takes to get more NFL licensed videogame options.

With that being said though EA has done a GREAT job on Madden 10 dont get me wrong, but they shouldnt forget their roots and realize competition brings out the best of everyone.

ya your right, everyone played Madden 93 over tecmo super bowl. Played madden 2000 on ps1 over nfl 2k dreamcast, madden 2005 over nfl 2k5......NOT!!!

Gues Madden won in the games between these titles, which were actually, the very same games with roster updates.

Don't forget that 2k has an "almost" exclusive license to make baseball games. Their agreement states that the MLB will only license to one third party publisher which killed off a few other titles but kept Sony, Nintendo and M$ able to make their own licensed games. So in a way 2k has rested on it's laurels without competition to an extent.

Re: Anyone want to sue EA over NFL exclusivity?

I sent a email to the NFL a few days ago citing that they should get rid of the exclusive deal and explaining my reasoning. Even I've came to a conclusion that they are just as responsible as EA is. EA at fault for releasing a mediocre game.

Hopefully when the license is up in a couple of years the NFL will follow the nba and won't allow EA to renew it. I do think that EA is getting their game closer to real football.

IMHO I don't think anyone has the artillery to take out EA's license with the NFL.
I probably should have reworded the title.

There's no way the NFL is going to get rid of EA's deal...think about how much money Madden 10 is making right now...there's no doubt that it is going to sell more copies than any football game ever...frome the NFL's perspective, if it's not broke, don't fix it. Madden 11 will sell even more.
