Whoever said cover 1 is right. It's a good base defense. This game isnt as cheesy as years past although i agree it is still cheesy. Mix up your coverages. Do all out blitzes on occasion to throw them off but dont blitz too much.

Of course this will alleviate problems as well. But if you're playing a friend and you know what he's gonna do, then use def. assignments. And yes, you just assign another corner to matchup against #2, #3, etc.
