I thought it just tracked your star players, good or bad, results.
It didnt have anything to do with the best players of that particular ame.

Peyton Manning will always be a "Star" player, sure he will have some bad games, that doesn't mean the stat block doesn't get shown.

Maybe I just interpreted it different, just like I did the blocking.

If Maddden 11 was just a REALLY cleaned up version of 10, I'd be ecstatic.

Yeah I always took it to mean these are the stats of your team's Star Players. Not that they were the stars of that particular game. More of a "star watch" for each game to see how the impact players are doing.

I've always thought that the 'Stars of the Game' was just the top QB, RB and WR from either your team, or the opponent's team.

At least, that's how it's always been for me.
