Extra Point is underated!

I love the intro and the outro. Everything in between is bad and just lazy. Why is she wearing the same outfit week after week after week in the show? At least pretend you didn't shoot all of this in one day. Aren't we supposed to feel like it's a fresh show every week?

Agreed. Next year EA please make Alex and Fran wear different outfits. And there should be the option for us to choose which outfits they wear. Damnit, bring in the Sims devs if you have to. Lets make sure we get this right.

Didnt the original madden on sega genesis have half-time highlights of other games? I know for sure that some genesis versions had them (nhl 94 for sure has them).

Im not knocking the extra point cuz i kinda like it and am looking forward to more but I think it's funny that something like this is still missing

It's the same exact thing as last year, only they added some intro and exit graphics.


How is it underrated? If anything it's completely overrated!


The fact that anyone defends it shows the ignorance for NFL 2K5 amongst the die-hard Madden fanboys.

While I'm underwhelmed with the feature as is, it certainly has potential if EA devotes enough time and money to improving it.

That being said, the gf was sitting on the couch while I started watching the show, and she couldn't believe that they were able to talk about the game like that, and go into as much depth as they did.

I don't recall last year giving me score updates from around the league or showing some of the top performances by players.

And defending it shows ignorance for 2k5? Care to share with me what, outside of highlights of other games, 2k5 did that Extra Point doesn't do?
