New idea for franchise (pre-season game)

You know how when you play franchise pre-season games, your starters play first half and your second stringers play 2nd half. Well, I was thinking that maybe the dev team could come up with a way that we can set how long each group of starters play.

ex.

Starters - 1st quarter
2nd stringers - 2nd and 3rd quarters
3rd stingers - 4th quarter

I like this idea, but I'm hoping that we can have expanded rosters so that we can cut our roster down to the 53 player maximum. That would add some playability to the pre-season. That and preseason progression.

Yeah the expanded rosters would give me a reason to not sim through all the pre-season games.

I'm a huge franchise junky and I think the expanded roster is a great idea along with the preseason play-time. Preseasonis a drag in madden and I don't like to sim this would really add realism and interest to preseason franchise. Let's just hope the dev team has the same ideas we do this would also help add to the new head coach features brought into madden this year.
