Positons rating increases

Anyone have a good list of ratings jumps for postion changes?

Besides the obvious MLB to OLB and DE.....

i dont remember any specifics but i know some wr-te work in your benefit. It lets me keep a 62-65 player as a backup that goes to 70-72 at new position. Also i move alot of ss/fs/cb's depending on size and speed and that works good too.

In quite a few draft classes it seems, there are MLBs with terrible OVR but have great MCV and ZCV ratings. Move them to SS and their ratings skyrocket. Keep in mind that they will no longer progress afterwards.

In my Pats Franchise Shawn Spring was out for the year, So I mover B.Merriweather to CB is OVR is 78 but he plays the postion much better then Springs did at 83OVR

Is this true that players dont progress if you change their position????

That's pretty cool. I remember the pre-draft info on Merriweather being that he could play FS or CB and that the Pats drafted him partly because of his versatility. That's a really good use position switching. Not like the cheese of converting fast 230 lb LBs to DE. I did convert a LB/DE tweener (Sintim) to DE in my Giants franchise, but the Giants have actually been lining him up at DE some in the preseason so far.

I have some luck with FB's to TE... and I usually take a flyer on a 7th round QB (imported draft), one of the fast ones, some of them make decent backup RB's, and great wildcat QB's, though that's about 50/50

Hard Hitting CB's make decent safeties (Kevin Barnes, Skins), and high tackling SS's make good OLB's (Tom Zibikowski, Ravens.. though I tend to leave him at SS, and have play #2 at SS, and #2 at both OLB spots, usually good for 70 - 100 tackles a year that way).

It is only true if the rating boost they get maxed out their potential, I move O-linemen all the time and shuffle the LB's/DE and they always progress for me, unless the potential is already maxed.
