I think they're back now. Atleast their twitter is talking about them playing online franchise...maybe that is their vacation IDK?

Why would they work a year on a product, only to not play it because of potential bugs where they messed up.

I don't think that could be farther from the truth if you tried harder. Most people I know have much harsher opinions of the things they have created themselves and I believe that to be the case with nearly all artforms, games included.

Also, why hop straight back in to the development cycle when you just worked tirelessly for nearly a year on a product. That's professional suicide...

true that when i created graphics for websites back in the day i hated my stuff i never thought it was good enough but in the end my customers liked it but to me i didnt. not saying it wasnt good but since it was my own work i felt that it always could of gotten better.

Not when your work is constantly bashed like theirs is.

You're going to be a bit defensive and enjoy your product that you worked on. I'm not saying they wont admit faults, but to think they're not going to play a franchise or whatever because they want to patch it first is laughable IMO.

Their work isn't constantly bashed. In fact, most reviewers and casual sports gamers loved Madden 09. It's just those of us that aren't clueless that bash them because we feel as though we've been lied to.

I mean, a lot of what they put in those blogs is not in the final product and that's just wrong.
