Here's what usually works for me when I find the game getting too easy.

I go into my settings and increase the difficulty a couple notches.

It's actually pretty simple.

Or you could play on MySkill until the cpu begins to dominate YOU. You play up until it is just tough. Challenging, yet fun. You play up until that point and make notes of your games and you IQ during each of those games esp. when you think you've finally got it. Then keep playing and once the cpu begins to dominate you, you plug in your slider set.

Personally, I use EvanRG's cpu sliders (with a tweak by HolyCrap's).

I played up until I played the Saints in the Superbowl and they demolished me. I had to restart. Then on a screen pass Sproles dropped it and it became a fumble and even though I picked it up it magically placed itself back on the ground to trigger a 'fight for the fumble' scene where the saints recovered. I got pissed off and quit the game. Now I'm trying to get my sliders back in order... Because the games were very fun before I got into the playoffs when my IQ was between 725 and 747.
