i already know some of the answers as well as u guys.

1. we couldn't get it in this yr. maybe next yr.

2. the way our system is built it would be real difficult to get that in. maybe next yr.

3. we tried implementing this feature in this yr, but when we ran it, it caused a nuclear reactor in china to blow up. maybe next yr.

4.we took a poll and scoured the communities and the majority wanted the cheerleaders to be blonde so we took out this and that feature to accommedate u guys. maybe next yr.

5. i thought u had a guy who's job was to just look at the unis to make sure you got it right?

well while watching a few of the games he fell asleep so we didn't get the correct unis this time. maybe next yr.

6. why r all these ads popping up? u said it would be like sunday and subtle, but b4 every play i see an ad. we found ways of making more money by cramming ads in ur face and charging you real money for something we could have programmed into the game. we will tone it down next yr.

7. why are some problems from previous games get a band aid for a machete wound. we really haven't figured out a way yet so we did the best we could with the skill we had. maybe next yr we will get it right.

now it sounds like i am joking. i am btw, but some of those answers i posted have been thrown at us in almost evey interaction we have had with the dev. i see them rewording it to us this time so it doesn't sound the same.

7.

lmao

Until we hear from Ian and company(he did say there would be blogs this week), I'm willing to wait and hear their side of the story. Earlier in the thread, AJ made some good points that most of the stuff from the blogs are in the game, it's just that we might not see it very often.
The respect is very much mutual Roadman. I truly mean that.

I agree with trying to be patient. Of course easier for me to say. But yeah, in my life's experience....97.4% of the time I've flown off the handle....well, you know the rest.

Hopefully this week some of the many questions will be addressed. This may or may not be any comfort to many, but I do believe these guys did their level best to deliver what was intended. I still feel more confident in Maddens future, than just a few years ago.

This comment is so funny because I honestly have thought that at times. I was coming to these boards just hoping to find an announcement that the wrong copy of the game was released.....sad, but very true.

I hate the answer that "the stuff from the blogs is in the game, but we just may not see it that often."

Damn, that sounds so slimy used-car salesmanesque.

"Well, your car has brakes, but they won't work on Mondays, Tuesdays, and every full-moon. But they are there trust us!"

Also, can anyone find the blog...it was one of the later ones where they talked about how teams "will call plays like their real life counterparts" and how they "watched every NFL game from last year" and put those results into the game.

What NFL were they watching?!

On the April Fool's blog about the crazy looking "Vision Cone 3.0," Ian says this:

"The other major problem we had to overcome was with the control. Playmaker control (originally implemented in Madden NFL 2004) is currently the default R-Stick functionality while back in the pocket, and through gathering a lot of feedback from the team we knew we didn’t want to change this as it is a fan favorite. Also, when you are behind the line of scrimmage, we wanted to discourage the "sprinting out of the pocket" mindset (by holding RT/R2 to sprint), so we thought that the sprint button could possibly be utilized. L2 / L-Trigger are totally free, but those can be very hard to use. So we settled on RT + R-Stick to activate QB Vision 3.0. This may seem complicated on paper but it is extremely easy after you practice it a few times."

So than why did they take it out to add in the QB avoidance thing? Personally, I've never used it and I don't really understand what the point of it is. It's a lot easier to just run with the QB to avoid pressure than to have to quickly reach for the right stick and push it in a certain direction just to watch the QB jump a foot sideways and still get sacked.
Playmaker is still in the game. On PS3 if you roll out the pocket and hold down L2 and push the right stick in the direction you want to closest receiver to go they'll do it. Its even in the instruction manuel.

Agreed 100%, it is nothing but a total cop-out IMO.
