Why does the computer re-sign players in the offseason that u didnt re-sign yourself? IO had a couple players (ugoh, Zuttah, Morgan, etc.) that were up for FA in my LA Bulldogs team and I was gonna let them go to FA and just draft replacements instead of going into further cap hell(only had like 15M in cap space) and I saved it after this period right before FA. But I go to check my team for some reason and the damn computer re-signed Zuttah for like a 20M contact. I hate this. Now i cant trade him or release him cuz of the hit. Ne 1 else have this happen?

do u have auto signings on? did u turn it off at the start of your season.

Don't let the CPU control your free agent signings or fill roster spots...

no i do everything myself. sign picks, re-order depth chart, etc. i do everything. i dont understand y it happens now im stuck with his big contract and hes a backup at that(I have P.Boma starting at RG)

Did you hire a new coach? That resets the options.

i did after the 1st off-season(im now in my second) and it didnt do it then? so why now?

happened to me too and I think its cuz I signed a new HC!

Best thing to do is to check before you do anything in the offseason to make sure your setting haven't been switched. I've hired assistant coaches before and had no change, but hiring a new head coach virtually guarantees that the settings for signings and all get set back to CPU.
