How well does Chad Henne progress in the game?

I'm doing a Titans franchise just for fun. I don't like running QB's so I'm going to trade Vince Young. I'm looking for a young pocket passer to groom behind Collins for a year or two. I know Henne has A potential. Has anyone done a few seasons and seen how he progresses? What is his rating like in year 3 or 4? I'm going to give him playing time for the next year or two until Collins retires/is cut.

He progresses nicely, as long as he's not sitting on the bench doing nothing... watch out for a huge cap hit when trading Vince Young though.

Henne not only progresses pretty well (+5 per year or so), he actually plays pretty well even as a rookie. Pennington got hurt in week 4 of the first year in my franchise, and when I started playing Henne, he suits my game more than the vet Penny does.

2nd year player And yea he's definitely an improvement for me when I want to try a deep bomb to Ted Ginn.

He will be a star, thats if he has A rated potential.

Anyone with A rated potential will be a star, no need to worry about it - the fact is, they will progress to be the best no matter what.

Thats not always true. I am in my 3rd year of my franchise and Henne is still a 73 OVR. He is now a backup with the skins.
