Newbie franchise questions

I'm on PS2 version if it make a difference
1) Does better stats lead to better progression
2)Whats the use of earning points in weekly gameplan focus practice?
3)If i run pretty often how many minutes a quarter is realistic?
4) There don't seem to have fatigue slider in ps2 version, so it is made default for 15mins quarter?
5) Does user/ai slider affect simulation or just user gameplay?
