Playing as the Cards against the Rams and audiabled Fitz by pressing the right stick up so he would go on the outside and run straight and I did a high looping pass for him to catch. When he went up for it, he had his back to the ball and his arms up, trying to catch the ball over his head.

Why didn't he just turn around and try and outjump the cornerback?

because they want to punish people who dont use the rocket catch.

You have to manually turn him around. It really makes my 6 foot 9 receiver useless since I can't throw him a jump ball
