Anybody on here getting a slow ,slow patch download?

It could be your connection. Try connecting a computer to your router connection and turn it on. It doesn't have to be connected to a desktop or anything. It just needs to be on. A computer or an extra router really speeds up the connection. I'm not polished in electronics but I think it has something to do with the bandwith of each router being shortened less allowing each router to perform at a higher level consistently.

Correct me if I'm wrong cause I don't completely know.

i would go this. it only took 3 minutes for me

You have to go into your ps3 network settings menu and disable Media Server Connection and your patch download times will increase.
