The PS3 does not have a dedicated upscaler therefore you should play the game on is native 720p to look best

The 360 can run at 1080p because that is the upsacler working on the 360


Regardless the game suffers from AA on PS3 and it is most noticable in the helmets. They look weak compared to the 360

But other then that the game is the same on every other front

Look, I'd rather play NFL 2K5 than Madden 10 because of it's lack of effort in presentation and some gameplay issues, but to say that Madden 10 looks bad is a complete lie. The game in the graphics department is phenomonal.

I'll keep this in mind with all of my games now that forcing into 1080p is not good all the time. Thanks, guys!

i have mine playing on 1080p and it is beautiful... there is a glitch that makes the ps3 downgrade the graphics. go into your display settings and and only check the 1080p box. the 480 box is default, so you cant uncheck that one. now load up your game and you will see a difference. but before you watch dvds or play other games you have to go back in and check all the boxes again. kinda stupid , but what ya gonna do!

from a DISTANCE the graphics are ok but up close and cut scenes are lacking especially washed out morphing faces

How do you set Madden 10 to run in 720p on the PS3? I think mine is currently running in 1080p mode.

Just go to the display settings and check all the boxes that say

480p
720p
1080I
1080P

once you check all the boxes then the game will default to the native resolution which is 720P

MINE LOOKS AMAZING ON 1080P. ITS STAYING RIGHT THERE. MAYBE YOUR TV JUST AINT PIMPIN!
