Haha...he can paint it anyway he wants to. The fact is, there are 20 million more consoles in homes between the PS3 and 360. 20 million MORE consoles and 50,000 less copies of Madden sold. And that's not even adding in Wii/DS/PSP sales. If you simply add in Wii sales, there's over 40 million more consoles in homes. Add in DS sales and it's up to 70 million.

How Madden managed to sell 50,000 less copies when there's over 70 million more consoles out there is beyond me. They really need to listen and start producing imo.

I think it's a combination of everything but the product is obivously a factor. I work in the gaming section of a local Toys R Us...and a number of people had told me that they aren't buying Madden this year because they are sick of the same things every year. I also think there alot less "launch" and "first-week" buyers than before. People may be waiting to be it used. I'm interested in seeing the Madden numbers after this first NFL weekend, since it's being plastered all over the networks.

People are starting to feel ripped off, even though there are alot of improvements in this year game...it's still a poorly designed game.

They've sold over 2 million according to this article.

It's also a game that came out 2 weeks later than Madden and has been advertised less and received less publicity.
