Rosters not updating for online franchise

Well the league I am in has patiently waited for this most recent roster update to come out before starting up. However the roster up date does not take effect in the league. Our commish checked his roster to make sure it was correct, it was, then he created the league, we joined but still had the old rosters. He deleted the league, waited 24 hours and created it again, we joined still wrong rosters.

Anyone know what the problem is and if it will be fixed? Is our commish doing something wrong when creating the league?

There's nothing that your commish is doing wrong. The rosters for online franchise have not yet been updated. Why not? I have no idea. Its unbelievable that so many of us have been waiting to start Franchises as the newest feature in madden...and we still wait 9 days after final cutdowns.

You may have your commish try checking again. There was word that the rosters should have updated this morning, for both systems.

You guys haven't already started the franchise have you?

But does this update only apply to leagues that are created post update? Or does it automatically update rosters?

You need to create an Online Franchise now to use these rosters.

If it automatically updated rosters mid-stream, there'd be no point to having a franchise. All trades, injuries, progression, etc, would just reset.

True, but the fact that guys like Favre/Vick aren't in my game is annoying (especially since there's teams starting Jamarcus Russell, etc.).
