something on MNF that got called for a pentalty happens in Madden all the time

So on MNF the CB was jamming the receiver almost 10 yards downfield and he was called for pass interference. The announcers mentioned that jamming the WR 5 yards past the LOS is pass interference. This happens ALL THE TIME in Madden. The CB will jam the WR 10 yards downfield all the time. Needs to be fixed!

I know its late, but I thought it was illegal contact. The 2 announcers that actually played in the NFL said this call and rule is ridiculous. I tend to agree, if you allow contact in the first 5 yards how do you expect it to be broken clean off exactly past 5 yards?

It's called the Patriots/Marvin Harrison rule. The Pats did such a good job of playing physical and taking Harrison out of games that Bill Polian and the Colts went to the rules committee and complained.

If you want it to reflect the NFL, then it also needs blown calls...Blatanly phantom flags on you. Sometimes it's just better to leave some aspects out of the game.

its hard to call in real life and i imagine even harder to replicate at an acceptable level in a video game..
