Right and Wrong. I played a guy who pressed all game with the Raiders and brought one man blitzing. I tried EVERYTHING you listed and running the ball. Theres nothing you can do when every receiver on the field including Andre Johnson is stuck for 3 - 5 seconds. The jamming is overpowered and they need to fix it.

often with my slot wr im running a slant on a short yardage play and the corner will be on the outside bumping the wr. instead of just cutting inside for an easy completion my wr continues up fighting up the field for 7-10 yards for no reason.

if the cb gives u the inside the wr should take it especially on a post or slant

Agreed. I actually find myself pressing a good deal against good passing teams with the EAGLES of all teams because of how effective it can be in negating the passing game.

I think the simple "patch work" fix to this is to increase the percentage that we see the press animation where the DB gets torched (I'm talking they try to bump, the WR swim moves by and gets an easy 5 yards of separation) and make it happen more frequently than it currently does. Especially with WR's that have high speed, strength and/or elusiveness.

Currently the WR'scan only release to the right so the Wr's on the right side of the field cant releae inside when being pressed. Its suppose to be fixed in the patch.

I have also seen what you are talking about in regards to Wr getting mugged and bumped beyond 5 yards Hopefully its all fixed in the patch.

Standing a WR up at the line is NOT a penalty. That is what the bump and run is. A cornerback can do whatever he wants to the receiver in the first five yards, but he can't touch him after five yards.

Do you see NFL CB's of today standing a WR up at the line and not letting him move, the way it is done in this game? It's really more interpretation here. A CB cannot HOLD/Stand up a WR at the line for 3 seconds or more and not allow him to move. Secondly a good WR is not going to allow a CB to do that to him anyways. You say a CB can do whatever he wants within the first five yards. NO HE CANNOT. HE cannot hold. He cannot put his hands in the WR's FACEMASK. He cannot stall his movement. Name me one CB that does what you are saying in today's game.

naaah the bnr is a breeze compared to PC Madden. bnr cant shutdown a entire offense on nextgen madden, boy pc madden bnr would have you throwin fits and breaking your controller. every cb was roided out.
