Has anyone else ever had this problem?

I have never seen it and this is the first time I have ever seen mention of it.

I've got a piece of a video of it. If I can get my hands on a decent camera I'll youtube it.

Started to make the tackle while both players were in bounds, contact wasn't made until they were out of bounds, and it was ruled unnecessary roughless.

I'm just thinking this is an isolated incident, it seems this is relatively rare.

Yeah it doesn't happen too often. I've made alot of pops near the sidelines and 99% of the time, everything plays out as it should (although occasionally, as someone mentioned earlier, I've made tackles that were blatantly "roughness," and they call... nothing).

But when that happens nobody is gaining anything out of it, so it's semi-insignificant to me in that event.

And last year, one of the complaints was the ability to drill a player out of bounds and NOT get flagged for it.

Lose/lose situation for EA, I suppose......

This is how I see it too, hell I am just glad the penalty is in ability to hit late and the penalty are in there, had no issues with it

i love it actually! Ive had 3 or 4 called on me and all 4 times were legit. I blasted the guy way after or right after he went OOB. One time was close and i went for it anyway and dove and by the time i hit him he was def. OOB.

I've it called five or six times, and everytime i replayed it, and it was a legit call, the ball carrier was hit after he stepped out of bounds.
