First of all, Snickers is one of their sponsors, so it makes plenty of sense.

Second, they're called Easter Eggs. Are we supposed to take the names completely seriously? No, we're supposed to find some of these funny and laugh about them.

The other possibility is that they're not for our amusement, but the developers. When you spend thousands of hours writing code, you have to keep yourself amused somehow. Same phenomenon as Disney artists writing sexual messages into the movies. People get bored.

I actually like these names...adds a little fun to the game. Sometimes they are a little crazy like Boar Jackson...but still something different.

Hate to disappoint you, but Patrick Chewing is most definitely in the game.
