Whatt saw on MNF!

I just saw Philip Rivers throw up a lame duck lob as he was getting sacked and then it fell into the hands of Gates!! Just like in Madden! I guess this is a completely stupid animation after all. Even if it was the first time I have seen it in real-life...

BTW, congrats to the Broncos. I might be a Chiefs fan, but I'm rooting for them after all they have been through this year and I'm really starting to like McDaniels!

Re: Whatt saw on MNF!

I didnt get to see the game. I guess lame duck throws do exist, lol.

So the broncos won then? I think the Chargers need to bring back Marty Schottenheimer.

Wow.
Not ones like we see in madden and even the one I saw tonight was unlike any I have ever seen. Usually it will just be the ball flying straight up as the QB gets hit and it usually falls incomplete.

Re: Whatt saw on MNF!

yeah, when i saw that pass, i thought to myself "there's the old madden lame duck"

the thing is, you only see those every so often, not every time a qb gets pressure.

and by the way, shouldn't we see some of those lame duck passes ruled fumbles in M10? i see more of those type balls ruled fumbles, "empty hand" than actual passes.

Exactly how many times did you see it last night ? This happens all the time in madden 10 ; that's the common gripe.

Exactly. I have no problem with the animation. It's just how often it happens and how it makes it almost impossible to get a sack without diving at the QB (there's no animation to release the ball if you dive at the QB), but that doesn't really look real so I don't do it.

Re: Whatt saw on MNF!

It actually happened like j times last night... Except for the completion to the unexpected receiver.
