Question about controller buttons(PS3)

Is it just me or do you have to press harder on the buttons(e.g. circle button) for it to function compared to other games? A simple tap of the button in the playcall menu doesn't function sometimes.

I have had button response problems this year too.

Sometimes I go to hike and it doesnt hike which causes me to slam the button and sometimes I doublehike causing me to throw. I also notice the pumpfake doesnt respond well when I hit the button. It Reminds me of one of the 1st FightNight games.

This is the first Madden ever that Ive noticed lack of button response.

This has happened to me a few times as well, but I thought it was because the QB wasn't set and I was just trying to snap the ball before my offense was ready.
