Clock starts to run when it shouldnt

Hi,

This might have been talked about already...

But when using the acclerated clock it sometimes causes the regulation clock to start running down again when it shouldnt.

Heres how I noticed it;

(I use 25 sec accel clock keep in mind.)

The CPU team made a 5 yard catch and their receiver runs out of bounds. The clock stops. As it should.

I'm deciding on my next play... The play clock is ticking down, and the regulation clock is stopped dead. All is is normal.

Then after I select my play and the two teams are lining up, to my surprise the accel clock tics away 25 seconds from BOTH the play clock and the regular clock!

And the regular clock starts ticking down again...

Whats up with that? When a guy goes out of bounds the reg clock should remain frozen untill the next snap right?

Am I wrong? Is this a bug?

If it is has it been mentioned in patch #2 to be fixed?

yea man this happens to me too, and its gotta get fixed asap. It hasn't caused me to run out of time in a game yet, but im sure it will happen sooner or later.

Sometimes when I throw an incomplete pass the clock still runs. Hopefully will be addressed by the next patch.

I've never seen it happen in that instance. The only time I see the bug happens is sometimes after plays where I throw the ball away out of bounds.

In your example, did this happen outside the last two minutes of the first half or within the last five minutes of the game? If so, then the clock is SUPPOSED to re-start.

I see that happen too. I know I read on Ian's blog that is WAS being fixed by patch#2, so thats good.

Ok, it was NOT the 2 min warning yet. It was a couple of times part way through Q1 and Q2.

So wait, its supposed to happen? Ok... didnt know that, lol.

I thought no matter what once a player runs with the ball out of bounds its supposed to stop the clock.

So, the clock will restart if its outside of the 2 minute warning? And what? not within the last 5 mintes of the game? I'm confused...

Yeah it only stops completely in that instance within the final 2 minutes of the first half and the final 5 minutes of the 4th quarter.
