offline the cut scenes kick in before the play is complete(before the tackle is finished,before the ballcarrier crosses the goal line etc...). if they were to delay the start of the cutscenes a second or 2 they would be fine.

That's actually not a cut scene. It's a post-play angle. There have even been times where it started and I still broke or prolonged the outcome of a tackle...
