Dynasty off-season. How do you run it?

Do you user control all 32 teams and sign FA's, as well as draft for them?

I know this worked well in the old gen day (although it took a lot of time), but is it still the way to go on next gen?

I wasn't sure if the logic had been tuned for the CPU in these roles. I hate it when QB's dominate the 1st round and teams like the Colts and Patriots pick one there.

Anyone still do this or is it OK to just control your team in the off-season.

I control all 32 teams, it is time consuming but very much worth it.

I don't really see a reason. The days of QB/HB dominated first rounds seem to be gone, at least with NCAA imported draft classes. In my first draft, the first QB taken was Sam Bradford at the 20th pick by the Patriots (to be fair, I imagine they'll let Tom Brady leave seeing as he has only one year left on his deal, and it was the best player available like BB would do.) The next QB to go was Jimmy Clausen in the 2nd round, then Tebow, then Rusty Smith. All in the second. Only two runningbacks went in the 1st (Dwyer taken first overall by the Buccaneers, who had the last place running game and zero rushing touchdowns on the year) and Montario Hardesty by the Chiefs in the middle of the round.

The free agent signings are pretty good too. I noticed this scenario happen mulitple times: a team with a 90+ OVR RE signs an 84 OVR RE, but when the new season starts the 84 OVR player is now a LE and starting. Same happened when the Bears drafted Ciron Black, a LT, and moved him to the right side.
