What is your opinion on the strength of the Saints?

After watching Drew Brees come 14 yards shy last year from the NFL Record for passing yards and watching this high flying team this year with Brees at the controls this reminds me of the 1999 Rams.

I ask this because I am having a debate over what the teams strength are.

I say the team is a passing team all game until they get the lead than they pound the rock to close out the game.

IMO the Saints = Pass Heavy team who runs mostly when closing out the game.

The debate is over making a team in APF 2K8 when I made a team with Brees, Colston, Henderson, Meachem, Shockey and Bush on offense but they said to take Meachem off and add another RB so I would have 2 RB's.

This is a debate I would like to hear from everyone else who knows about the Saints.

Passing. Their entire offense is built off of the strength of Brees with all the weapons he has. Defenses have to respect that, thus the appearance of a strong running game.

Passing team first, running second. I think the guys who said add another HB is because of Bush and the tendency the have of him being more of a reciever, end around guy than lining up as a back.

the Saints Oline is sick...especially the guards Nicks and Evans..but Brees tends to steal the show on Sundays

and if you only got one choice, put pierre thomas over bush...the kid has the 2nd highest ypc in the league
