seriously started the season 9-2 and finished 10-6 ...losing the AFC championship game with the steelers to the 8-8 texans..???????????

could not stop the texans for the life of me...

Seems plausible that some of their better players might be on hot streaks coming into an AFC Championship.

Aside from that, I have never experienced harder games later in the season (although harder playoffs would be a nice touch in a future Madden - I tend to ramp up my sliders just a bit in the playoffs).
