After listening to analysts talk about how there most likely wont be a salary cap next year, I have decided to turn it off in the game. It almost feels like cheating, has anyone else kept the cap off?

one question. why does the nfl want to change the salary cap rule?

Its a contract issue between the players union and the owners. I think revenue sharing comes into play also...

I wouldn't call it cheating since it's probably going to happen.

with it off, all that changes is that you can sign anyone you want, right?

It removes what little strategy there is to franchise mode, so no I do not do it.
