Just got the Jack English draft

How many seasons in were you? Has anyone had this class first up?

My understanding is that there are 32 draft classes and 4 "paths" that these classes come in. I have had the Jack English class first and as the OP said, it is a very solid class. I didn't do as well as him but I did get a handful of A potential players (including English) which gave my Browns franchise a great start.

I heard there were 32 paths as well as 32 classes. I haven't yet had the same exact path in any of my franchises. Here is a link to more info....

I must have misunderstood what I read, or it was wrong. Either way, I am hesitant to use that database as I feel I am cheating myself out of really enjoying franchise mode. Nothing is more frustrating than picking a Ryan Leaf or KiJana(sp?) Carter with your top pick. And I love being surprised to find that late round player who can step up immediately.

The "paths" are from Head Coach. They aren't in Madden.

In NFL Head Coach, you get one of 4 15-class paths. In Madden, it grabs a random class each season of franchise mode.

The Jack English class is ridiculous. He himself is one of 3 first round quarterbacks, there's a LaDanian Tomlinson clone available in the 3rd-4th round area, there's another sleeper QB available later, several good linemen, several good ends and linebackers. Just a great draft class all around.

Yeah it was pretty surprising. It was the first draft class we got in our online franchise. I couldn't believe the QB's available. Leron James is unbelievable. He has better throwing skills than Russell...lol
