If you're getting killed in the deep middle of the field, you should try playing a cover 3 zone, or a cover 3 press if not quite as deep. If you're getting killed on a lot of slants, then stop calling man coverage. if you're getting killed on posts or streaks to the middle, stop calling zones and switch to man coverage. If a tight end is killing you, consider playing in a 3-4 coverage to keep a linebacker on the te.
