i used to do a 49ers dynasty, dont have the game anymore and i didnt want to control willis, i wanted to control my safety with low awareness because i figured my star player shouldnt need me controlling him to make plays... wrong...

patrick willis put up crap numbers for me as well on 8 minute quarters

Accelerated clock...many people here play 15 min quarters.

Just don't snap it until there's :10 or less on the play clock like real teams often times don't.

If you play with accel clock off, and call a play, audible, snap count, and hike the ball in 10-15 sec - well, yeah, you're going to have scores super high on 15 minutes. You're basically calling a slightly slower hurry up offense in terms of time off the play clock.

Slow down, read the field, let the defense move around, etc - do what real QBs do on Sundays to help burn time if you don't want to use accel. clock.

I like Accel clock - more of a challenge to not do all the adjusting and most QBs don't do a ton of audibling and changing routes and motioning, imo - and even on 25 sec run off - I can do a line call and fake snaps and on defense - change player, change coverage, and change the DL rush angle.

If you do take it slow and burn time on the play clock - might need different sliders then if the scores are still sky high.

That's great in theory but the problem he would run into is that he can't control when the CPU snaps it, without AC on I really doubt it would wait that deep into the playclock to snap it.

True.

I don't know, though - I might test it sometime. Inside of 2 minutes, the AI does seem to slow down some vs outside (when Accel clock is still in effect).

I could delay picking my play on defense - thought that doesn't burn that much time.

The quick snapping CPU needs to die too.

Accelerated clock is one of my very favorite things about M10. I love the fact that I don't have to feel like I'm doing something wrong when I'm running the ball and controlling the clock. In year's past, I found online to be nearly unplayable when people decided to milk the clock. Waiting 40 seconds for a 5 second play gets irritating.
