I don't get many INTs on slants...I get them more on curls which is why I don't use the route much. I know there are videogame constraints, but I hate when the receiver pulls up on the curl in position to make a play and just stands there (!) while the defender moves/warps around him to make the play. They need some realistic fight-for-the-ball and jar-the-ball-loose animations in situations where the receiver and defender are close together.

I had play like that on a deeper route - think it was a post where the WR was going for the ball, the FS came from behind and made the pick - but was called for pass interference (and on the replay, the FS did indeed "push" the WR out of the way to get the ball - it wasn't a push per se, but he launched his body through the arms of the WR). That needs to happen more often as well. It's hard for a DB to do what you describe without causing contact before the ball gets there.

I agree - better animations/interactions (and less passive WR) which could create the chance for more interference penalties as it would in real life.

And I'm talking about curls against a man defense in this game...they seem nearly impossible to me. It's like the DB is running the curl and the WR is the defender
WellThat seems to be most of the time. Sometime the WR is open for a split second. But most of the time the AI always playing tight on the WR not giving him any room to catch. On all pro it seems the AI is always playing perfect D all the time. On all pro the AI D needs to be toned down just a little. It does seem that the AI D on all pro never makes a misteak. But in real football even the best of Ds misses assignments. That where it needs to be in proved for the AI D part.
