Worst Start?

NFC Divisional Playoff, Cardinals (me) @ Giants.

Giants receive the kickoff. Karlos Dansby is injured on the first play, broken collarbone and unable to return.

Giants march down the field pretty effortlessly, I manage to stop them at about the 10 yard line. Field goal is good.

Breaston receives the kickoff, breaks a tackle, almost breaks it for a touchdown but is grabbed from behind, tripped, and fumbles. Giants pick it up and run it into the endzone. Flag on the field, it's holding against the Cardinals. Declined. Touchdown Giants. 10-0, and we're not four minutes in yet.

Breaston receives kickoff. Gets to about the 25. Flag on the play. Clipping against the Cardinals.

At that point, I gave up.

Anyone else started a game so badly it seemed the result was decided before the game actually started?

Happens in real life. How do yo think comebacks are possible? So let me guess, you quit the game, played it again and won in a more "realistic" game?

In an Ultimate Team match I started off by somehow (I guess chemistry is more important than I believed) letting the CPU Jaguars drive down the field on their opening possession for a TD. Then on the kickoff, Hester fumbles and they recover and take it back to my 1 yard line. Next play, they run it in with MJD while my Legendary Ray Lewis is injured for 10 games. After I get the kickoff down 14-0, Pat White is quickly hit as he throws for a lame-duck INT returned for a TD.

Sweet, down 21-0 and I've run two plays on O.


hahahaha, sometimes I stink at this game, even on All-Pro.
