Exported Active Team

I created a custom team (Texas Longhorns) and I was able to continue editing the team until the 8th week when I tried the 'Export Active Team' in the franchise. This saved the team to the same section my custom teams have been saved. After saving the team, I was no longer able to edit my custom team in my franchise.

I tried to edit the team that I exported in the Creation Zone where you create / edit custom teams, but it wouldn't allow me to edit it even though I could select it.

Couple of questions based off this experience for the custom franchise players out there.

1. Did exporting the Active Team make so I could no longer edit my team?
2. Are you only able to edit your custom team up until a certain point (say week 8?)?
3. Do you know why I could not edit the team that I exported?
4. What's the point of exporting the Active Team? (especially since we can't edit it after we export it... when is it used?)

Try this approach - it may work.

Install the game to your hard drive. Then use the 360 menu option to make sure you play the game from the HD. Then load your Franchise and go into Team Management and try to Edit your Created Team - you may be able to edit your Created Team.

This approach has worked at least twice for me.

That's how I was editing it. I couldn't do that any longer after exporting it though.
