Reason Why There Are So Many Blitzes by the CPU in Madden/NCAA

A lot of people have complained about the CPU blitzing a lot and leaving the middle of the field and/or the flats wide open and easy to exploit.

I've seen this a lot in both Madden and NCAA and I think it's just the game's Adaptive AI trying to kick in. I run between the tackles about 90% of the time and I've found that after I run the ball a lot, I start to get all of the blitzes, many of which are the "Engage Eight."

There has to be a better way to get the CPU to adjust to running game without bringing the house every time.

Every team should have a regular 46 front in their playbook and use that in situations when they are selling out vs the run, that will give you the 8th man in the box

i dont know, i pass like 3/4ths of the time w/ my Saints and still get blitzed like crazy...oh and running up the middle is not an option for me w/ my custom settings...my 96 ovr RG Jahri Evans gets beat a ton whenever i try..so i usually just say screw it and sling it w/ Brees

and if i dumb down the CPU run defense, then the outside its just too easy..i really hope they work on a good default All-Madden setting for '11..I find it really hard to get a challenge vs the CPU in '10 w/o the game playing ridiculously unrealistic
