The blind spot idea is really cool. It'd make things far more realistic.

But, to make sure the devs who may read this topic get something burnt into their brains:

i honestly completely 100% understand what you are saying, but you really need to ask yourself this question: can u still beat the cpu easily?

im sure the answer is yes, since you're very good at madden. im sure you get frustrated on defense when you're playing on a high level and your play makers are getting destroyed. Well it's not your fault, no matter what play you pick, the higher the level the dumber YOUR TEAM gets. Not only do they get dumb, but they forget how to tackle, they forget how to catch, etc.

I understand you want a balanced pass rush, i swear i want the same thing too. what good is having the best front-4 if they dont generate a decent pass rush? Even with the excessive lob passes, throws off the back foot, quick throws...i have to accept that game. i feel that many madden vets gaming/football IQ is higher than this game can put out, imagine what would happen if the cpu QB never got rid of those passes. think about how many sacks a game you could have?

Like others have said, your ideas are good. Like others have said, Ian is taking this game to where it belongs. But let me tell you what you are doing, you're hyping yourself up!!! I'm tired of having high expectations for Madden when it's been nothing but pure crap since moving to next gen. Many people may not agree with me, yes M10 was the best Madden since next-gen, but even that game was crap.

It doesn't matter what you value in these games, (stats, gameplay, in depth franchise, smooth animations, presentation) the only thing that truly matters is the replay value. I picked up 09 and it felt like 08, i picked up M10 and i instantly shut out the cpu on all madden.

I'm sorry for this rant, I think i've gone off topic, but it's getting frustrating that last-gen had so much replay value and next-gen lasts about 2 or 3 franchise years before boredom. Every other sports title is going somewhere with their franchise, Madden just started it's "building phase". Why don't Madden have an in-depth superstar mode? Everybody else already got their mode together and already has us online...don't worry, ill wait for u Madden
