Game Devs-Please keep the generated draft classes!

This is my first post on here, and I am sure a lot of people will disagree with me, but I love the generated draft classes in Madden. I play offline franchise, and when I start a new franchise, I always look for certain draft classes to build my team around. Although the some of the names are pretty cheesy (i.e. leron james), but I think that most of the created players are great, and every draft class has some fun players worth building a team around. I would love to see new generated players along with maybe some of the old ones from Madden 10. I do realize that the generated drafts create some problems for online franchises, but I haven't ventured in the online realm yet....Go ahead and blast me, but madden 10 was the best experience with the draft classes yet, IMO!

I pretty much agree with you as an offline franchise player myself.

Of course, the ultimate solution would be to program better rookie generation logic. It's been done in other games with pretty good results. But I doubt this would happen for Madden since rookie draft classes don't sell copies of Madden and ...well, EA doesn't really seem to care about anything that won't sell more copies of the game....

I agree that if EA wanted to go back to a system where rookies were randomly generated, they would need to go back to the drawing board compared to the randoms rookies in previous maddens, prior to Madden 10. It seemed like in previous maddens, a rookies name and measurements might not match their styles/stats. i.e. could you imagine jelani okoye with stats of a bruising RB, as a white HB that was 5'11" 200 lbs. That would ruin the experience because it just wouldn't be realistic IMO.....
