And Madden will always have room for improvement; no matter how perfect one person thinks it is.... It isn't going to be perfect for someone else. Remember, you can never please everyone.

For me, when a company make a "perfect" game -i.e.-caters to my interests gameplay and mode wise, polishes the game thus limiting the bugs and glitches, gives great post release support, then I am much more likely to buy the next version then not.

I have never understood that "people won't by next years game if the current one is too good" line of thinking. If a company is getting the job done, then I have no problem paying every year for a new great game. I would love for that to be the case with sports games. I reward excellence with my continued support.

I believe the perfect Madden is spoken of somewhere in Revelations.

Towards the end times, and man's last days, it's hearkened by the coming of the beast, the great testing (presumably to finally get rid of all the bugs), and followed by a thousand years of joy for all man kind when the great Madden himself returns to teach all the inner wonders of football lore. In those days, the lion will lay with the lamb, and both 2K gamers and EA gamers will unite and rejoice. Finally, the fan's chooseth it to be in the game.
