If Madden 11 were made available in two seperatley priced games, one with the ads we have now or another with no marketing BS...

Would you pay $55 for the one with ads, or pay $65 for an advertisement-free version of madden?

I pose this hypothetical question because I doubt EA makes an additional 5 bucks from snickers and burger king for every single copy. So they'd make even more, and us consumers would have more options, which is key. the only potential downside for them is that companies might be less willing to advertise with somebody who also offered an ad-free version.

there is no way I can see me paying an extra 5 dollars for no ads when the ads aren't even that big of a deal IMO

Ads weren't done right/well in the game, and ishouldn't see ads in my offline games. I shouldn't be punished for being in an XBox Live Party wanting to talk to my friends by being rushed with ads. Then again, when I try to play Madden against the computer i remember why I shelved this game in the first place. time to put Bad Company 2 in again Love that game right now.

I didn't realize the threads were in such short supply. Golly, I hope we don't run out.

Then, of course, it begs the question: Why waste a post on a thread that's such a waste?

but in all honesty, I know that EA reps still read the forums even if they don't interact like last year. Personally, I'd pay the extra $5 for an ad-free version. If it's a win-win for the company and consumer, maybe somebody at EA would consider it and maybe it could happen down the line...

I've seen some ridiculous posts on here in my time on this site.

But this one definitely takes the cake so far.

Sure, let's worry about ads or no ads when gameplay is horrendous. That's a GREAT idea.

There's not even any advertisements in the current game.

I'd pay extra for no-ad television though.
