Which Madden had that cannon sound effect after a deep pass was completed?

Yeah, it was unrealistic. But for some reason I liked it because it added emphasis to deep catches, but I can see how it could have gotten annoying deep pass, after deep pass.

I hope the individual(s) responsible for the radio announcer and cannon sound have been fired and haven't found work yet. 2 of the absolute worst "features" to ever appear in a sports game. Ever. Considering those games were supposed to be a recreation of NFL football and not Midway's Blitz series.

Yea I know. But don't have the money to afford to get another ps2. I ain't had a ps2 system in about 3 years.

i just checked my games and:

1: radio guy started out in 07

2: sucking sound plus BOOM when you threw a deep pass started in 06

3: i liked the radio guy but not for this type of gameplay

hahah I agree. I think that mindset was what was wrong with Madden. Glad they are thinking more about realism now.

wouldn't you be happier if the crowd truly went wild, as did the anouncers, and auto-replays showing it? and maybe some player celebration?
