+1 unfortunately. Offline franchise does not fit into their focus, which is online and "accessibility".

It appears someone down in Orlando got it into their heads that online is the future and offline is in the past, so no sense in spending anymore time and resources on offline franchise than is absolutely necessary.

It's not even a gamplay feature - you just watch two other people play each other... revolutionary?


You might as well watch a cpu vs. cpu match - the CPU won't cheese as much as real players online.

It's LIVE though. I'd like this feature, it would certainly make me more interested in online play.

Do ya'll think this "ground breaking feature" will be similar to what they just announced for NCAA 2011? Controlling your team online? That is my guess. Regardless, that does nothing for me. I don't like online crap. I like offline franchise, I want something deep and immersive.

You could do that in online franchise in 10 though so it wouldn't exactly be ground breaking. I'm guessing it's full 11 on 11 mode or something like that, where 11 users can play against 11 other users.

Doubt it will be that... has already been leaked that team play will be up to 3 players for each team.
