Looks like EA is doing everything they can to make ncaa football outsell madden.

This is the year we will see just how important franchise mode gamers are for ea sports sales.

If madden sells well this year then that means franchise mode is not important. If madden bombs and does poorly then franchise mode is important.

I'm going to trust ea that the casual gamer is more important and madden sales more than last year.

Very true. I wish a football developer would take care of this demographic though. That is $$$ on the table for anyone that wants it.

They basically said M12 will be all about Franchise and the other career modes. So how can you even say that? It's disappointing news, but it's not like they told us "we canceled franchise mode forever."

These threads/topics are the most frustrating for me... I love franchise mode... and the NDA keeps me from saying anything. Opinion or otherwise [I'd rather not give my opinion because I may slip up, you understand.]

I'm not buying Madden either... First time in 20 years, I think. I'm sure I'll be able to pick up a used copy shortly after its released if Gameflow is THAT much fun and I just can't hold out. But it'll be Gamespot getting my dough, not EA. (Although they'll still get plenty with NHL and FIFA 11)

So the last 4 years of slacking is alright because they now said 'Next Year'? That's so asinine it hurts my head ..
