How is the gameplay/AI in Madden 08 for the ps3 and 360?

I should first mention that I hated Madden 09 but really liked Madden 10. I sold both when I was able to get a good price for them but was thinking about picking up a cheap video game to hold me over for a few months (gamestop has this game for $3 used for the 360 and I think $5 for the ps3).

So, how is the gameplay and AI in Madden 08? Is the ps3 or 360 version noticably better, or about the same?

madden 08 had some of the worst problems with ints this side of backbreaker. that game was an interception-fest. go with 07 instead.

I found 06-09 to be a crapfest as a whole honestly....09 if i had to choose one though....Should still be able to grab that for a few bucks.

IMO, Madden 09 was 10X better than Madden 08. So if you hated 09 I almost guarantee you won't like 08.

I appreciate the responses. I guess I will just stick with ps2 versions for this summer until I see how the upcoming Madden turns out.

I had more fun with 08 than I did with 09, however, both were terrible. PS3 was FAR worse than the 360 version. The PS3 was a bad port. 08 runs a lot smother on the 360. Also, [as of 09 and M10] I miss how much more aggressive the WRs were in 08. It had some very nice "spectacular catch" animations. I guess I was also biased because in the default rosters I could sign Correy Dillon back to the Patriots [who just got Randy Moss and Wes Welker] and going 19-0 with them doesn't feel un-sim in the terrible franchise mode. Oh, and Larry Allen. Larry was still a 49er in that game and like a 94OVR. I miss running behind Larry Allen [in years past I would try and trade for him, so I loved that he actually became a 49er, though he will "always" be a Cowboy.]

Oh, yes, that is the best choice. Go with Madden 07 for either. 07 is my favorite Madden ever, ever.
