FG Kicking Idea - Percentages

I thought I would post this here. I actually can't believe I haven't in the past.

In NBA2k10 they have an option for "player free throw %" where you don't actually use a free throw meter anymore. You just let the player go through his pre-shot ritual and then initiate a free throw with the right thumb stick and the game takes over. Obviously the 2k people looked into each player's true free throw % numbers and applied them to the roster. This way, I the accuracy of the shot is based off of the free throw % number.

Why couldn't we have this as an on/off toggle for Madden 12? I would rather let the computer kick my FGs based off of a %. It would be even better if they broke it down by range, seeing how some kickers, for some reason, are better at longer instances than they are at shorter ones.

They could also add to presnetation as well. On TV they often show a chart at the bottom of the screen labaling ranges and the kicker's ratios all year long, or give the career % or some other cool fact.

Call me crazy, but I think that would be a great option, and if done right, could by on the list of online fair play rules to have it on by default.

Thats actually a great idea in my opinion. Ian Cummings tweeted this earlier this week:

You should definitely call and leave that suggestion.

That's a solid idea, it would actually put some randomness with the field goals, as of now it is nearly impossible to miss a field goal.

I simulate kicks to add some realism to the conversion % so I love this idea. I don't even know if simming (what I do) is based on my kickers ratings or if it's just random so this would be nice.
